Are the worst type of killers. Such as the two protagonists, or rather, anti-heroes of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. I’ve scrounged up a little something to, shall we say, set the mood for the rest of this entry.
I suppose that everyone and his mom have probably heard about Jeff Gerstmann, or rather, his firing, which is why I shall not bother to elaborate much on the petty details here. Instead, after the initial shitstorm that usually follows such events on the web, I’ve come to some very profound conclusions about game journalism, which, for your convenience, I’ve outlined below.
I really hadn’t noticed. Time does seem to fly past when things start to merge into one long, never-ending chain of events, be they good or bad.
In the meantime, though, the site hasn’t really received any makeovers like I had intended to perform right after my Common Tests. Let’s not talk about that, though. Instead, we shall talk about technology.
This occasion is, indeed.
I have only just bid farewell to my faithful host of 2 and a half years, Sitesled.com, in favour of my new host and domain, which, if you managed to find this post, (since all the links on the site are now broken) you’d probably know by now. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time now, I’ve even mentioned it here a couple of times, but today! Today is the day my new debit card comes into play.
Are things that I very much look forward to in life, for the uncommon means that I am unprepared.
My main rig is more or less back up with all manner of software re-installed, though issues and hiccups with drivers and software alike threatened to drive me nuts. In conjunction with said achievement, I’ve updated my desktop wallpaper, something which was long in coming even before this recent wipeout.
My computer has been.
So, from my recent post, you’d probably have known about my recent acquisition of a Creative Zen V Plus. As you would probably have also known by now, I’m a sucker for pretty much anything technology-related. So I downloaded something I found called mp3tag (I won’t link it here, and you’ll understand why in the next few paragraphs), and proceeded to tag my extensive collection of audio-inclined files.
It seems I have found it, in the form of a small, delightful package, no larger than half the size of my fist, white as the iPod, with a distinct hint of green.

Presenting my new purchase of the 2 GB variant, which leaves me 179 SGD (Approximately 117 USD) less wealthy, but I suppose that’s not really the source of the lingering guilt that stays with my heart. It’s more the fact that I’ve actually indulged myself with such a vicious vice, and I’m starting to feel the various pangs that come with it, almost as if I’ve been swindled, cheated, then left to die.
